Steel Grit (Sigma Abrasives, South Africa)
Steel grit is a carbon steel angular product obtained from shot crush¬ing in special roll mills and available in 4 hardness grades. It is used in surface rapid cleaning (due to its combined impact and cutting effect), to provide surface roughness (pieces to be enamelled or painted) or for special hardness pieces of shot peening like etching cold rolls. Excellent Abrasive for blasting operation in closed environ¬ment such as blast room, blast cabinets etc as well as open blasting. Steel grit can be recycled number of times.

GH Steel Grit - Max hardness of 68 HRC - provides constant cutting
GL Steel Grit - Hardness of 55 to 60 HRC
GP Steel Grit - Hardness of 40 to 50 HRC
SA Blast - Specially developed readymade mix of Steel Shot and Grit
